Embrace Grace Cumming

Embrace Grace is a support group for girls in unplanned pregnancies. Our mission is that every girl in an unplanned pregnancy has a place to go for physical, emotional, and spiritual support.

Why Embrace Grace?

  • Statistics say that 3 in 10 teen American girls will get pregnant at least once before reaching 20 years of age.

  • In 2015, there were 185 abortions performed in Forsyth county - this does not include the number of women who went outside of the county to get an abortion.

  • The heart of Embrace Grace is for girls to gain HOPE through an awesome support system, be INSPIRED to keep dreaming and make new friends in similar circumstances.

WHAT WE DO

  • The girls complete a 12-week faith-based curriculum as a group.  This environment provides encouragement, a safe place to discuss things on their heart, and a path to learn practical ways to hold onto their newfound hope.

  • We host a Baby Shower for the girls who decide to parent their baby. They leave the shower with almost everything they need when their newborn arrives.

  • We host a Celebrate Life Shower for the girls who decide on adoption. The girls receive anything from clothing store gift cards to gas cards or books for school which help as she continues her life after giving birth.

  • At the end of the 12-week period, the girls attend a Princess Day. The day begins with pampering and ends with an intimate ceremony.  The ceremony focuses on showing them how valued they are, “crowning” them for their achievements, and solidifying all they have learned.
